App doesn’t link to iPad mic

The app needs access to my iPad (A16) mic but it isn’t sending a request to the iPad for that access. I can only give it access in my iPad settings once it’s sent the request. So I’m unable to use the chord practice function because the app can’t hear me play. I see I’m not the only person having this problem. Are you trying to fix it? Thanks.
