Chord change counter not working

I’m having some trouble with the Musopia app. On my iPhone I can use the microphone to “count” during my 1 minute chord change practice. But on my iPad I can’t, even though the microphone works for strumming single string in perfect chord exercise. App is updated and microphone is on. iPad Air, iPad OS 26.2, Justin guitar app updated.
