Finger Stretching Exercise doesn’t work

Nothing registers with the finger stretching exercise. I can’t tell if it’s detecting sound, or if I’m doing something wrong, there’s nothing indicating it or telling me what I’m supposed to do. Why aren’t there even basic instructions? “This is finger yoga” doesn’t mean anything, and just exacerbates the frustration.
