Microphone Not Working

App Version 3.19.1 (9418), Mac Studio M2 Ultra, external mic connected via Apogee Element 46 interface; other apps, e.g. Logic Pro, 'hear' via microphone perfectly. Justin Guitar app has permission to access mic. I have tried toggling permission, uninstalling then re-installing the app all to no avail. Please advise.
